Yes or No?

By Jayden Kyryluk Yes or no. Yes or no. Our lives are ruled by these three and two letters words. Oh how incredible they are! Our choices and decisions lie on the path between yes or no. A thought comes! Yes, or no? Shall I act on this thought or not? A decision must be made! We are creatures of action living in a world of effervescent movement. Yes or no! A decision must be made! Sitting in the train station with so many other creatures all thinking the same thing - “yes or no?” Is this my train? Yes or no? Will I make it? Yes or no? We’re all trapped on the path between yes or no. The path is a moment that always leads to another like a train leaving one station for the next. A infinitely repeating moment unique to each of us.  Yes or no? A decision must be made! “Always be moving forward” our peers tell us. “Where you are now is not good enough” they tell us. “Always put one step in front of the other” we are told. The present must yield to the future! Yes or no, yes or no, yes ...

Purposeful Presence

By Jayden Kyryluk Breath for the sake of breathing. Play for the sake of playing. Sing for the sake of singing and dance for the sake of dancing.   In everything that you do, do it for nothing but itself. Laugh for the sake of laughing and cry for the sake of crying . Do it for no one but yourself. Do everything that you do fully, without inhibition. Do it as if it is the only thing that matters. Not for the future, not for the past; right here, right now.   Love for the sake of loving. Live for the sake of living.  All is found within itself. Do it, for it. That is the present moment. Finding Peace

By Jim Kyryluk Peace is something many people dream of, pray for, and wish for. But what happens when you actually find it? What happens when peace becomes a reality?   Many think they will find peace when they meet their true love, or when they achieve financial freedom. Others find it when they are close to nature, or find it within scripture. No matter how one finds peace, it is without question the greatest gift of all, for it is a gift from God. A gift that should never be taken for granted or dismissed, for it is truly the most divine gift anyone could receive. Peace is something that cannot be described. It must be felt, experienced, and embraced. Once you have experienced it,  you will want to scream it out for all to hear because it is the most wonderful feeling you will ever have. It is a calm, a stillness so profound, so incredible that words could never describe it. It is like falling into water that embraces you and warms you to your soul.  Peace can be ...

Without & Within

By Jayden Kyryluk Everything that is without is within. What is found in the exterior is reflected in the interior. The noises of a city; the homes, people, love, hate, passion, and distraction…what is found without is found within. We create the world we know and what we know emerges from within. The world we see with our physical eye is but a reflection of the interior Eye. One need not escape from the outside world but create one that is a reflection for what they seek in themselves. If you don't like what you see outside yourself, you will not like its reflection within. So change what you see within and your world without will follow. It all starts from within.  The source of change, of who you want to be and what you want to see, is already within you .

The Stillness of Now

By Kyle Wilfer As a mountain manifests the silence between the words in an incarnation of grace and magnitude, the sheer chaos that pours out is met with a semblance of perfection. Just as our ego paints the canvas of the soul; a mountain invokes storms, houses wildfires, and harbors death and life. The duality of such grace is pure and just.  Allow me to see, but not to possess.  Allow me to hear, but not to react.  Allow me to taste, but not to want. Allow me to love, but not to desire.  Allow me to be in the world, but not of it.  Ah so, and that too. As yet another part of the sadhana arises at every moment, no goal but the power of now lingers in this heart. What shall manifest will be as is written.  Kyle's Bio: I am witnessing the promises and pitfalls of this incarnation and writing is the mechanism in which the witness can speak. Through my many travels I have come to some amazing realizations that have carried on to everyday life. Finding God in ...

The Crossroads of Time

Image
By Jayden Kyryluk On the outskirts of the Armenian ghost city of Ani, I sit in an abandoned terrace carved into the mountainside with a crumbling fresco adorning the arched roof. I see two angels above what appears to be Jesus Christ. The fading colours within and without the outline of figures and crumbling plaster are all that's left. Surrounding me are the signatures of people who have visited this room. I see messages in Armenian, Georgian, Arabic, and Turkish script dated 1916, 1886, 1908, 1880, and 1968.  This room is the crossroads of time, culture, language and religion. This room is the very crossroads of humanity. Over a hundred years ago and more, people just like I discovered this fresco, struck by its beauty. They wrote their names down. Perhaps to remember the day, or to be remembered in history. Now, hundreds of years have gone by and the meagre handwriting on these walls is all that remains of their story. History has forgotten their race, religion, and names; all t...

Learning Through Blueing

By Aimy Tariq   Whatever is causing sadness, fatigue or despair, know that it holds a deep sense of belongingness within you in that specific moment of experiencing; where rejection, loss, or disappointment acts as acceptance and a kind of protection, and there's a reckoning of a strong bong between what we lose and how in that process of grieving or disconnect we witness light, learning, and a unique level of awareness rising with each breath in...like a light cloud, soft sunshine, and the blueing of what seems imperfect, uncontrollable, or scary in all actuality it's an invitation to enter into realms of authenticity, unconditional love, forgiveness, and care. Our nervous system is a wired intelligent mechanism as it opens up portals of acceptance of new neural pathways, and keeps us safe and at home, and when we navigate through tougher moments allowing them to pass as impermanent layers of happenings, the anxious self slowly learns renewal while coping through it.  Aimy is...
